My Dodge pickup will start but the idle is about 300rpm. When put into reverse will stall. When stopped at a stoplight it will often stall. After it is off idle it runs ok. But the engine runs very weak at idle.

Have the Idle Air Control valve and Throttle Position Sensor inspected. The IAC can get dirty preventing it from adjusting idle correctly.
