2005 Dodge Caravan power control module

Mechanic told me the power control module had corrossion and was causing issues. They power control module cover was off and had gotten wet. If I get a cover and cover this box should the corrossion be stopped or am I going to have to get a whole new box.

Once the corrosion is cleaned off of all electrical contacts and water is dried up then box is covered, box will be okay. Just make sure all water is dried up first and all contacts are dry and clean.
