Changing parts its not going to help you ,
you have to start by checking the wiring harness and relays
use a test light And or voltmeter

There are two small negitive cables and one large negitive cable that go to and from the battery. The large negitive and one small negitive cable go to the frame of the van on the left hand side. The other small negitive cable is grounded to the frame under the battery. If one of these cables are bad could that cause the van to go into limp mode and cause the code P0888 come up on the van? P0888 is that the output is in the off position and how do I get it in the on position? Also you gave me possible solutions

FUSED B+ CIRCUIT OPEN
TRANSMISSION CONTROL RELAY OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN
TRANSMISSION CONTROL RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN
TRANSMISSION CONTROL RELAY GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
TRANSMISSION CONTROL RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
TRANSMISSION CONTROL RELAY OUTPUT CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
TRANSMISSION CONTROL RELAY STUCK OPEN
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE
INTERMITTENT WIRING AND CONNECTORS

If any one of these things are open, how do I close it and fix the problem?

Thanks and sorry about bothering you! God Bless

They said that acid went onto the pcm, Thinking old school, I would disconnect the positive side of the battery and ground it to the negative. Leave it off foe a few minutes, Look at the connectors for the fcm. See if you can see any white I would say crud on any one. If so you can get electrical contact cleaner at most any auto stores. Spray the wiring connectors for the pcm and clean them off. Then reattach them to the pcm when dry. If hard to get areas you can use a old tooth brush to help clean some of the hard spots. Reattach the positive side of the battery. Get the vehicle started and drive it around for about 20 miles thats how long it takes for the computer to reset other than taking it to a auto store where they will reset it if there is no major codes. This is just a thought of any possible problem you have.
