Electrical problem
1999 Dodge Caravan Front Wheel Drive Automatic 179048 miles

Over the coarse of the last year, I have been having issues with my temperature, speedometer, odometer and fuel gauges flat lining at random while I am driving. Sometimes goes months with no problem to weeks. I estimate that it had happened 15 times in the course of the year. Sometimes they come back on there own only seconds after failing, other times I have to hit the top of the dash to get them back. We checked fuses and brother-in-law checked ground. Is there something else we can check. Kind of hard to check when it doesn't happen all the time and very seldom happens when I get it home.

If there are no ground issues, have the body control module checked, make sure all connections behind the dash are tight and clean, and check for damaged pins in the wiring harness.

If everything is good, chances are the cluster itself is bad.

Let me know what you find.
