Hi guys. I have a better suggestion if you're going to fix it yourself. Don't waste your money on new parts.
You'll still have to pull the tank down and pull the pump assembly out most of the way. You'll see the sending unit clipped to the side of the housing, and the float arm is held onto the sending unit by one little plastic finger. Pry that finger up so you can slide the float arm off. With it off, you'll see two brass-colored fingers near the pivot where it was attached. Bend those tabs out just a little further so they make better contact. One is for the fuel gauge and one is for the low-fuel warning light. Snap the arm back on and put 'er back together.
