Hi, I have a 1998 dodge caravan with 242445 km and it has a 6 cyl engine and in the mornign it started fine and then an hour and a half later it would not start. All of the lights coem on and everything electronic works but the engine just wont catch. The sound it makes is liek it is really cold out side and my block heater was not pluged in. I was thinking it might be the starter. Any assistance woudl be greatly appreciated. Thank-You

Cranking and turning over are the same thing. Starting comes after it cranks or turns over.

If it cranks it is not a starter problem as the starter is cranking the motor or turning over the motor.

There is spark, fuel or compression missing. Try spraying some starting fluid in the throttlebody and check to see if it will start for a moment then.

I did the diagnostic trouble codes and apperently it is either the battery and the ignition coil

The battery is supplying adequte power to crank the motor. The ignition coil sounds feasible.
