The car has power because everything comes on. Has a brand new battery too. I could wiggle the gear shift and that would help it start but now that wont work. It makes no sound like a starter problem. Can it be the computer? Also if it's running and I come to stop at a light it wants to die out on me. Im afraid to go anywhere cause it might not start up for me.

Try and move down the shifter to N while holding the key in start position and foot on the brakes
and if it does start need to check cable adjustment and N/S switch

Thanks for answering my question. Just want to make sure that I'm understanding you. If it does start by moving it into neutral with foot on the brake then check the cable adjustment and N/S switch? What do you mean by cable adjustment and what is the N/S switch.

Thanks,
Forrest

SHIFT ROD ADJUSTMENT
Place shift selector in Park position.
Raise and support vehicle.
Loosen shift rod adjusting lock screw at bottom of shift rod near transaxle.
Move shift lever on transaxle all the way to rear detent (Park) position and hold.
Tighten lock screw to 90 INCH lbs. (10 N.m).
To check adjustment, gearshift lever should be within limits of gate stops when shifted through gear positions.
Vehicle must only start in Park or Neutral.
