60,000 miles isn't soon enough for some older Hondas, but for your engine, it's common for the belts to last well over 150,000 miles. Mine has WAY more than that on it. This is not an interference engine so nothing will be damaged when the belt breaks. The only concern is sitting on the side of the road and paying for a tow truck.
A common cause of timing belt failure is worn bearings in the water pump. In my case, I had many weeks of warning that the pump was going out. (Noise and coolant leaks).
