1994 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Every time I apply the brakes my oil pressure drops and the "check guages" light comes on, if I give some gas the pressure goes back up. If let off the gas it drops again. When I start moving again it goes back to normal. What could cause this?

Do you hear any type of engine knocking noises both upper and lower part of the engine?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearings
