For a while now my caravan would cut out while driving at higher speeds(40-70mph). It would just stall for a moment or two and then pick up again. Yesterday, while driving down the Interstate at around 75mph the engine completely died. I coasted to a stop on the shoulder and had it towed to my house. Since then I have replaced the plugs and wires, d-cap and rotor. They were all in bad shape, no oil on plugs though, just white carbon. I am beginning to think maybe this is a fuel pump problem? It cranks when I try and start it, just never sounds like there is a spark. Any suggestions on what to check next would be helpful.

Cranks but no start condition:

Fuel and Spark

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine at least 3/16 away from ground -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it.
