1993 Dodge Caravan brakes

My 93 grand careavan brakes get hard and then they go back to normal the abs light comes on and it go off

Run a scan and see if you have any set fault codes first and report your finding back here.

I have the same vehicle with approximately the same miles on it and unfortunately the same problem. I assume what you mean about brakes going hard is they lose power assist. I've been told I may need to replace the electric pump. Have you got anywhere with your problem?
