The timing belt broke on my '92 Caravan while traveling on the highway. I am getting conflicting information about whether this is a non-interference engine. Although I have a compression test planned, I would like to know what the expected out come is likely to be.

It's a free wheeling engine, but a compression test will do no good! Timming belt needs to be in place to show compression, ie. Some valves will stay open without the belt.
