About a week ago the car started acting really funny and would only go in gear when revved up to 3k rpms. Tonight when we tried to start it it continually blew white smoke even after warmed up. THe car gave no indication that anything was wrong it just started acting up one day. The smoke does not have a coolant smell. On occasion we did smell something when driving it but not like anything burning. Please let me know if you think this is a blown head gasket or if you think the trans is gone. Thanks.

How about you fillup tranny and see if 3K gets any better. I have studied all the trans spec. And can see no way T fluid could get into exhaust. Is engine oil O.K. Not a weird brown gunky? Hold a cloth on exhaust if oil cloth will show if coolant then will get wet and maybe tell what is comming out.
Let me know will be on line until 11am EST
