Dash lights not working?

2001 CHEVROLET SILVERADO
190,000 MILES • 0.6L • 6 CYL • TURBO • 4WD • AUTOMATIC

My Dash lights won't work, but when I roll the dimmer all the way up and the cab lights come on the dash lights light up. I've checked some fuses that I think go to the dash they all work and have even tried replacing the switch and dimmer box and that hasn't worked. What else could be wrong?

I would check the INT PARK and Illumination fuse in the fuse box on the left side of the dash for power here is a guide to help you and the instrument cluster illumination wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works.

This guide can help you check the fuse.

Okay I would remove the cluster to see if you have ground to the black wire and power at the purple/white wire with the headlights on.
