Hi,

Are there any lights staying on such as ABS, traction control, stability control, or others?

If there are no other lights, the first thing I want you to check is the actuator cable that attaches to the throttle body. Make sure it is properly installed and not damaged.

See pics below. Pic 1 shows the end which goes to the throttle body. Pics 2 and 3 are from the actuator motor that actuates the Cruise Control.

Let me know what you find. Also, let me know about any lights.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

Chances are it's not the cable if the lights are on.

If the ABS or traction control lights are on, the cruise control won't work. Have you had the computer scanned for codes? My first suspect would be a faulty wheel speed sensor.

You can check each wheel speed sensor using a voltmeter or multimeter. Having the can-bus scanned will save you time. If you want to check them at home, here is a link that explains how it's done:

Let me know your thoughts or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
