Crankshaft position sensor?

Replaced my crankshaft position Sensor 1 day ago and now it's worse. What else could it be?

Hello, were you getting a crankshaft position sensor code? And what brand sensor did you put in? Most likely the reason its running worse is an aftermarket sensor. When it comes to Crank sensors you want to put the OEM manufacture sensor in, not an aftermarket one. The crankshaft position sensor is the most important sensor in the engine. It may also need a crankshaft variation relearn done on it with a scan tool. When replacing these sensors, the engine computer needs to relearn the new sensor and its signal. It has to be done with a capable scan tool.
Okay, I'm not seeing a relearn procedure in service information for this vehicle, so if it is an aftermarket sensor, from AutoZone for example, you'll want to get one from the dealership. The aftermarket parts we have been seeing for the last couple of years have been really bad. Especially sensors like this.
