Cranks but no start sometimes

My van is cranking for a few seconds before it starts but it is happening so randomly the dealership cannot even troubleshoot the problem. A brand new battery from Honda was installed two weeks ago. It is just happening out of the blue with no warning or patterns.

Hello,

This sounds like a crankshaft angle sensor is going out which is a common failure. Here is a guide that give you an idea on what you are in for when getting the problem fixed.
