Lost key. Had new key cut.
When locksmith reprogrammed the key repeatedly it continued to throw a code 13 mass airflow sensor.
However at this point I believe it to be a security or SRS. Question: how can I reset these errors on this model without a diagnostic tool? Thank you!

Hello. As far as I can tell, there is no code 13 for this car. Usually, engine codes will start with the letter 'P' and the 4 digits. Now, your Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor is in no way, shape, or form, tied to security. So most likely its coincidence. Could be a piece of dirt on the filament, a wiring issue, or it could simply be that the sensor has died. Since, at this moment, you just want to clear the code, disconnect your battery cable positive terminal for 10 minutes. Reconnect it and it should be gone. If the code comes back (either immediately or in a few days) then we'll need to further diagnose the issue. Let me know what happens.

You cannot clear the codes without a scan tool. Also HEYMAN1104 is correct we need to rescan the codes to get the "P" code. Here are two guides to help us fix the problem:

and

Please run down these guides and report back.
