Good day.

Last night I have driven for about 50 minutes came to this place where I had to park sideways on a slight hill. Parked there for the night. This morning when I got to it to start, engine only cranks, turn over but no start, and oil light started to flash instead. Does the position of being parked had anything to do to with oil pressure or so and will it cause I car not to start?

Good morning,

The oil light is normal. You are cranking the car and the RPM reading is very low so the pressure is low on cranking. Once the engine does start it should go out and stay out.

As far as the no start, can you hear the fuel pump run?

Can you check for spark?

Yes, I hear the fuel pump. What will my next step be? And what can cause the pressure to be low on cranking?

You will need to test the actual fuel pressure to verify it is correct. You can have the pump run but it may not be building enough pressure.

Did you check for spark?

You mean spark by the battery? I bought new battery 2 months ago.

No, spark at the plugs. I attached a guide for you to follow.

When you crank the engine, does the tachometer on the dash move up a little showing RPM?

Yes a little. Almost reached 5 rpm's, is that not enough? Will check the plugs.

Hi there, sorry that I only come back to you now. I was pushing the car out of the position it was standing on the hill, and got it onto a level position and bam, it was starting without hesitation. Wonder why that happened. Before I pushed it off the hill though I was attempting to start it and nothing. But now it's all sorted. Thank you
