Crank no start?

It all started with the oil cap being left off and oil splashed the engine and shut it off. I had to redo the timing, checked compression in all the cylinders (cylinder 1 no compression) could be due to timing. Replaced fuel assembly, checked EFI relays and fuses, pump doesn't engage with key in the on position. Also, there is no check engine light display either. It has spark in all 4 cylinders. Also, I replaced the ignition lock cylinder and the sensor as well. I'm possibly leaving towards a fuse or faulty part. But I'm lost.

The first thing we need to do is to see if the engine will run on starting fluid, and if not let's check for spark from the ignition, also how does the engine sound when cranking over?
