Generally speaking, an engine will need spark, fuel and compression to start.
You will need to check if you are getting spark to the plugs.

When you turn on the key can you hear the fuel pump?
In operative fuel pump can be due to a faulty relay, wiring issue or a bad pump.
This vehicle has two fuel pump relays. They are located in the fuse box under the driver side dash (see diagram below).
Check for any corrosion or burnt pin(s).
The relay can also be tested.
