I was driving on the interstate and out of nowhere the ceramic piece of spark plug blew out. unplugged one coil pack and melted some of the main harness and eventually quit running. So I replaced all plugs and wires, fixed the harness and replace the coils checked all fuses.tried hooking a OBD scan tool and it says unable to communicate. The truck will not start check engine light is on when the key is on.

Good morning,

It is possible, but I would start by checking all the fuses with a test light to verify power to both sides.

Did you solder and shrink wrap all the wires that were damaged?
