Okay, so I have the vehicle listed above and one morning I went outside to start it up since it was cold, well I went back out and there was transmission fluid all over the ground, so I turn the truck off. So after I looked and there was a tube hanging in the front it was disconnected I later found out it was a cooling tube that connects to the radiator to the transmission. Well I also notice it was broke before and the owners you owned before us just clamped it back on. So i just went out and brought a new clamp and fluid. I connected the tube tighten the clamp added transmission fluid. It was shifting okay but now that I just tried to go for a ride it seems as if it does not want shift at all now. so I’m a little confused on what to do or what is going on! So please help me out.

This could be an issue with the internal components of the transmission but I am thinking it is just low on fluid. Here is the process on how to check the fluid on this 545RFE transmission.

If this is not the issue then we need to check for codes. If there are codes then that will point us in a better direction. Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks
