Hi there, so it looks like there's coolant leaking from my car. I took it for a smog check to my repair shop just a week ago and they found out there was a leak and a water outlet was needed to be replaced because it would overheat the car and engine. I replaced that outlet as well as the thermostat and added coolant. A week later and there's no coolant on the radiator and reservoir. I'm afraid there could be a leak somewhere else. Any idea what else could it be? I know the car could be on its final stage because of all the miles I've driven on it. Thank you

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

There are many places where coolant can leak. Hoses, the radiator, cylinder head gasket, freeze plug, heater core. the list goes on. Here is what I need you to do. Follow this link. It discusses how to identify where a leak is coming from. Additionally, I am going to provide a link that shows how to pressure test the system. You will need the tool to do it, but most parts stores will lend you one.

Once you determine where the leak is located, let me know what you find. I will provide the directions to repair it.

Take care and let me know if you have other questions.
