We have a coolant leak coming from the thermostat gasket near the bypass pipe, but only leaks when cold.

We have no pictures of this, but if gasket is leaking replace the thermostat and gasket. Also, look for etching on thermostat housing. It may be bad as well.

We have replaced the thermostat and gasket when we changed the water pump and that was on the 6 June this year.

Does this use a fiber/ paper type looking gasket
or
One that looks like an O-ring with a split around the inside
I got a link from Advance Auto Parts showing these gaskets.
Sometimes things are bad right off of the shelf, sometimes things can get installed wrong, things might float/ scoot out of place, maybe even get unknowingly pinched.
