I have the SUV listed above that I have recently installed a spectre cold air intake on. I have driven it only a few miles and I got code po332 on my diagnostic machine after the check engine light came on. Could the cai system I just installed be the culprit and if so would a high performance mass air flow sensor fix the issue or do I need some other item to make the cai operate or should I just put my factory intake system back on?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Actually that code is unrelated to a MAF (mass air flow sensor). Code P0332 is a knock sensor issue. The knock sensors (2) are underneath the intake manifold and are sometimes prone to failure on these 5.3 engines. I've attached picture diagnostic steps below and location for your Tahoe. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Okay, that was different. Typed up a part of the answer and poof it all vanished. To add on, the CAI could cause an issue but not in the way you might think, the knock sensors are a common issue on these engines and it's likely you moved the wiring while installing the CAI. That set the code. Follow Danny's post and test the sensors and their wiring.
