I do not have any lights, beleive battery is almost gone, if I turn the key to the run position I get a service engine soon light but that is it.

When I turn the ignition key, nothing happens. Starter does not fire, dash lights flick but nothing. Had this same symptom a few months ago after a rain. Same damp conditions today.

Check to see if your fuible links are ok. They may be losing contacts. They are small wires connected to larger wires near the starter. Also make sure your cables are clean negative and positive.
