Overheating

97 dodge caravan
everytime i stop at a red light for more then 20 seconds the temp. needle goes up to the H
once i start driving the needle goes right back to normal in a few seconds
does anyone know whats going on?????

your thermostat could be sticking. is your cooling fans coming on?
