We've had a dealer try to attempt to fix it with no success. After several attempts (within the warranty period) he claimed it was not actually covered and said he would charge the next time we brought it in.
After that when it failed to open we felt fortunate it failed on the opening cycle and decided not to open it. However there came a time when we did try it and it operated both to open and close so we used it until it again failed to open.
I have heard of other Chysler and Dodge owners who have had this problem, is there something inherent in these brand vehicles regarding this problem?
