Hi: Have you tried a different key? I've seen problems where the key has actually worn to a point that it no longer works.

If that isn't the case, replacing the ignition switch on avehicle with an air bag needs to be done by a professional who knows what to do. If you're not sure what to do, you could deploy the air bag when removing the steering wheel.
