Key won't turn in ignition.

2002 Chrysler T&C Limited. Key won't turn in ignition, first time this ever happened. Tried jiggling, tapping with mallot, turning wheel far as possible both ways, jiggling gear shift in park. Still won't turn.

Hello,

This could be due to the steering wheel at a locked position. When the engine gets shut off with the steering wheel turned it can engage the lock pin and prevent the steering wheel from turning.
Try applying pressure to the direction of the wheel and turn the key while applying pressure. This should release the lock pin and will let you turn the key.

If this method fails, then it could be a seized lock cylinder and will need to be replaced.
