Hello, Ihave noticed recently that our passenger side power door is not opening. The motor kicks on an unlatches the door, but it won't slide back. Closes fine tho. Is this a temperature thing? I cleaned and reconnected the battery terminal cable and it seemed fine for 4 days.(Positive cable) Any suggestions?

Either the lock solenoid is going bad, the switch is going bad and not allowing enough power to get to the solenoid, or there is a bad connection where it plugs in to the power supply. Remove the door panel and check for general problems. Also, make sure 12+ volts are supplied to it.

Let me know what you find.

Great! Thanks.I have also ordered a new latch for the door. Could that remedy the problem? I also noticed that the day I washed the van it was 75 degrees out and it worked like a charm. When it got down to the 40's a few days later it quit working again. Cold here now, so don't know if I want to put unnecessary stress on the plastic door panel? Thnaks again.I will keep you posted.
