The passenger sliding door will lock and unlock, but will not open. The motor sounds like it is working, but the door goes nowhere. If I pull the handle to pop it out manually, it will then power the rest of the way open and will close automatically just fine.

I replaced the actuator a year ago and it worked good until a week ago when it started not closing all the way at first (would almost close, then bounce back open) and then not opening on its own at all. Today I took the wiring out of the "snake" to inspect it - finding no breaks.

Is it the latch not popping the door open or a motor? I have seen something about a pin, but that seems to be on the drivers' door.

One of our mechanics left a tip check to see if child safety switch is not in the "off" position it may have been bumped and turned on.

I did switch that back and forth and tried it in each position and did not make a difference. I will double check to make sure it goes all the way over in either direction.

If that doesn't work then check the motor that was replaced and see if a bolt fell out or if it's moving all the way to open the door. If it's opening manually then that may be the problem.

The child lock is not the culprit, I can open the door manually from inside. I don't see anything obvious as far as bolts. What do I look at as far as the motor? I've been trying to see anything move, but not really sure what I'm looking for that pops the back of that sliding door open.

In pic I[m sending arrow points to part on motor that moves check to see if that works then if you can slide hand down to where it connects there may be a plastic clip broken and not allowing motor to pull lever to open door.
