Electrical problem
2001 Chrysler Town and Country

None of my break lights work on my van. I had a mechanic/electrician look at it. He checked the fuses, wires, brake button (down by the brake pedal) and everything looks fine. We checked the manual and tried to troubleshot the problem, but it did not work. Occasionally in the past my break light has come on and flashed for a period of time but the fluids are fine. Please advise.

If the bulbs and fuse are good (he did test them, right?), The next thing to remove the brake switch out of the vehicle and test it. It may look fine, but the internal electrical connections may be defective. I have a feeling that you have a bad switch.
