1997 Chrysler Sebring I'm desprete to fix my car. Does afte

I have a 1997 sebring convertible, I took it into the shop because it totally just shut down as I was driving. They said it needed a new computer..I had them put a new one in..then driving home..it made it 2 miles and broke down. When I start it, it starts fine however it has a rough idel and after about 15 min. it shuts down again...I was told by the shop that it was the distributor and the egr.
also, I took this into a chrysler dealership for the repairs!!

they wanted 2000 to put the distributer..I said no thank you and we put it in ourselves...

anyways its still is doing the same thing...what is wrong with my car????? I dont have the cash to take it into a shop anymore!!!


we have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, distributor, EGR ,PCM, crank sensor, spark plugs

we used the OBD and there were no errors. we even did the key ignition check which makes the engine light blink. depending on the amount of blinks would indicate an error code. nothing..

it also smokes when its running for awhile...almost like oil is hitting something??????
