When I am driving 50 to 60 mph it slightly shimmies from left to the right or when I hit a small bump in the road

If you mean the steering wheel shimmies left to right, it could be nothing more than the tires need to be rebalanced. Most other causes can be eliminated. A broken belt in a tire, or bent wheel, for example, would be felt at lower speeds too.

If you mean the entire car shimmies left and right, start by looking for loose or worn steering and suspension parts. Tire wear issues will also usually result from wheel misalignment due to worn parts. This is best diagnosed by a tire or alignment shop.
