I have a definite howling noise coming from my left front wheeo area. I have checked the bearings and they seem to be OK (no wobbling). Is there other bearings in the wheel area. I have checked the alternator, it is OK.
Is there any ither bearing in the axel? What else can I check?
Thanks for your assistance.

in many cases you may not see any movement even though the bearing is at fault
drive the car on a smooth straight road
and try to steer little to the left and little to the right (driving like a drunk )
as you maintaining the speed does the noise fade away or change and if so 99%bearing is at fault
