Cold Engine Noise

I have a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser, it has 120,000 miles on it and still runs great. The last couple of weeks though when I start the car on cold mornings it sounds like paper cups getting tossed around in the engine until the engine starts to warm up. I was wondering if it could be that the belts are cold? The car runs fine while it's making the noise and it only takes five minutes or so for the noise to stop. It didn't do this last winter but I did have the belts replaced since last year.

Change your oil and filter-that don't fix the noise-you probably have a leakdown problem with the lifters.

Or a partial clogged oil galleries or a sloppy oil pump/bad bearings
