My automatic door locks, lock all by themselves. This happens when I am driving, as well as when the car is parked and already locked. It is very random, and will lock several times in a row, and very rapidly. What could be the problem? I am also having a problem with my car sputtering while I am driving. It almost feels as if there is water in the gas, but I do not believe that is so. I have changed the spark plugs and air filter, but still have the problem. If I put the car in neutral and rev the motor, it does not rev up, but appears to sputter. This problem is not constant, but seems to be getting worse, and the check engine light has just come on. I appreciate any advice you may have.

The locks could be an issue with the BCM (body control module) and the check engine light is the PCM telling you it has stored a fault code, most likely the reason for the sputtering. When you have it scanned, have them check all systems, we need to see if there are any "B" or body codes in it as well for the door lock problem, th e"P" codes will help with the engine problems.
