I just had a major tune up and the fuel injectors cleaned out and a new fuel pump put in. I had the car put on a machine and they said the injectors are bad. I want to know will the injectors stop your car from turning over and why? Are the injectors expensuve to replace and wher to they go in the car.

You need to check if the injector/s are getting power and also is it pulsing.

Not "turning over" has nothing to do with the injectors. If you hear one loud clunk from the starter, but it doesn't spin, suspect worn solenoid contacts. They can be replaced for 20 bucks but most people just replace the entire starter motor. This always starts out as an intermittent problem, and will get progressively worse over the next few months. It has nothing to do with a tune-up either, and can not be caused by an unscrupulous mechanic. It's just normal wear and is quite common.

I want to know will the injectors stop your car from turning over and why? If the injectors are not pulsing you won't get fuel therfore it won't start.

Are you trying to say it cranks over and refuses to start or just won't crank at all/nothing when you turn the key to start-Be specific with your symptoms-that way we can assist you better
