I Replaced the brakes, altinator and adjusted the drive belt. Then drove approx 35 miles over a 2 day period. I parked my car over night then the next morning it would not start. I put gas in it still no start, then I used starter fluid and it fried then died then it turned but it was a low lagging and then died. The battery died so I had it tested then replaced it with a new one. Then I replaced the cap and rotor and spark plug wires, pvc valve. But not the plugs because they were only 2 months old and looked good. I checked the air filter and hose and cleaned the EGR tube and checked the electrical connections. It still wont start. Please help?

Welcome to the forum, thanks for the donation. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs, if spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Are there any trouble codes?

Holding the threads on any metal part of engine should work. Some of the national brand auto stores rent out fuel pressure gage and other tools, you may have to put up a deposit, but, you get it back when you return the tool. It used to work that way? I haven't rented anything in a long time.

I am getting no spark I replaced my ASD relay and now the shop says its is probably the pcm. I am getting error codes 11, 12, 24, 33, 71, 55. Is there another passability besides replacing the PCM?
