Who manufactures Chrysler OEM brake parts and what brand rotor would you recommend? I like Bendix products but can't find them locally without ordering them, what brand is comparable to Bendix rear brake rotor part number # 141849?

Funny thing about brand preference I'm finding. There have been so many reboxing going on, that you don't know what you're getting or who really made it.

For example. And this has been like this prior to the push influx of chinese rotors. A store or repair shop changes the stock from one brand to another. The old stock gets reboxed into the other new stocking brand. So what did you buy? Who knows?

Personally our shop uses Advance auto's wearever brand. Very few defects for the last 6-7 years.

I like Napa's rotors as well, even the economy ones have been okay for the few we have used.

The rotors aren't made to be machined anymore due to the epa's demand on fuel effieciency. Thinner and lighter rotors are a weight reduction.

I'm not sure on the oem brand, but I'll see if I can find out.

We used to be a bendix branded company and also can't get them locally. I really liked the pads that made.
