1999 Chevy Venture all brake lights and turn signal stopped

I was driving the other day and may clock display started blinking on and off when I would put on the brakes. Later that evening my brake lights(all of them) stopped working, and my blinker would not work. The brights still come on and all front lights are working! What is going on?

I suspect that your turn signal switch has shorted
The brake lights run through the turn signal switch.
I do not think the high mount brake light runs through the turn signal switch.
Check to see if it is still working.
