I have a 1999 Chevy 3500 Van with a 5.7L that's been not wanting to start very well as of this week. It will start after the 3rd or 4th time of cranking then will run like a dream, starts with no problems after that unless it sits for more than an hour, the longer it sits after that the harder it is to start. It has a newer fuel pump that went out last year, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor & new fuel filter.
I lost my fuel pressure tester & am in the process of locating another as we speak to double check that pump. Fuel pressure regulator is my next thought, maybe it's causing the engine to lose it's prime.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks, Adam
