1997 Chevy Lumina wont start

I thought I had the pushrods wrong but I reviewed another members answer you gave to another member and all the pushrods are right it sounds like there is no compression it syarted before I did the head gaskets. Do you think you may know what is wrong with it I reaaly am stumped thanks. Eric

Hopefully she did little damage if any, it depends on how long she drives with the engine oil too full. The problem with it too full is that the crankshaft whips the oil up and gets air entrained with the oil so you will loose the lubrication of the oil due to having the air entrained. I would drain the oil immediately, and then refill it according to the owners manual. If that doesn't have info in it as most luxuary cars don't. Start filling it at 3 quarts then start checking the level on the dipstick after each quart is added until the level is at the full mark, remember that from the add mark on the dipstick to the full mark is one quart. Give the oil a few minutes to settle after each quart is added so that you don't over fill it either.
