I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer push button 4x4, w/aprx 134000 miles, and it has a V6 vortec engine. I went out of town on a trip to a weeding in Kings beach (coming from Sac) and on the way through the mountain pass the truck started hesitating mostly when I would let off the gas. (It felt like it was going to just die like it was loosing pwr) I thought at first it might have been from the altitude change but as we got closer to our destination the problem became worse and the hesitation became more often. I took the 267 hwy exit and was slowing down for a stop light (the truck started hesitating and loosing pwr), then the light turned green and I steped on the gas and the truck started to pick up speed then just died and would not restart. I was able to roll it out of the way, and let it sit for a while then tried to start it again and it would not turn all the way over to start. It would try just wouldnt happen. I still had all electrical pwr and the truck didnt over heat or anything. The next morning I went to the truck and tried to start it again, the truck started but within 2 secconds died again and wouldnt re-start. I have heard a few different answeres as to what the problem could be but nothing for sure. What would cause this sort of problem? And is there any comon problems with these trucks that might cause this?
