is there a fuse that controls the fuel pump and ifso where is it located

To better assist you, could you please list the specific model of truck? V10 pickup V20 pickup etc.? Also please list the 8th digit of your VIN to ensure proper fuel pump relay location.

Okay.
Only thing my sources tell me is that the fuel pump relay is located in the engine compartment.
It is probably mounted somewhere on the firewall, but it may also be in the power distribution center, usually located near the battery.
