A chevy dealer told me that my throttle body was out on my vehicle. We had one put on but the light stayed on for a few minutes and the vehicle did not idle right. After a few minutes we turned it off and back on the light was off. The vehicle appeared to be idling okay. Should it have taken a few minutes for the new throttle body to work? We also took the erg valve lose and cleaned it out. Do you feel this car is okay now? When first checked the oxygen sensor and master air control sensor light was on also.

The PCM will have to relearn certain parameters, such as TPS closed throttle voltage.

I would continue to drive and if check engine light comes back on, have PCM scanned and record code.

I would then take back to Chevy and have them repair it, under warranty on original TB replacement ticket.
