2006 Chevy Trailblazer engine light

Hello. My engine light came on about a week ago and I had an appointment to get it checked out but was forced to cancel. Unfortunately, I have to drive about 75 miles this weeked on the freeway. I took it in to EZ Lube because they were the last to work on my car. Although they do not work service when engine lights come on, I was just there and got a new battery.
To help me, they plugged a device into my car under my dashboard. The guy showed me that it read I had a small leak in a hose. He looked but couldn't find anything by sight.
Although I know you can't really tell me anything specific, I just want to know if I will be safe on the freeway this weeked. My car feels fine, but I don't know if I should rent a car or not. I really don't have the money. I do have an appt. To get everything checked on Tuesday.

The guy showed me that it read I had a small leak in a hose. He looked but couldn't find anything by sight.

It sounds like he's refering this leak with the evaporative control system-could be the gas cap loose/vent lines/purge control/ etc. You'll do fine till Tuesday-make sure they double check the Evap system
