Brake Lights

All of the lights on my trailblazer seem to work except the brake lights. I've tried changing bulbs. Haven't tried the fuse yet. But from reading some other similar posts I'm thinking it may be the brake switch. Is there anything else besides the fuse, bulbs, and brake switch that would prevent my brake lights from working? Ironically, the top brake light on the rear door (storage area) of the truck works.

Check those you mentioned and also check for loose connections, bad grounds and possibly broken wires.

I know there is a recall on the taillight modules for the 2003 I had the same problem. Check the recalls on the 2004 the modules are only about $30 from the dealership they are a dealer part only
